Customized
training is in many ways an ideal learning model. It is specifically
tailored to your organizational needs and it takes place at
the time and place of your convenience. The only drawback
is that it may be more expensive as a direct result of additional
software or licensing costs, higher trainer costs
or customized courseware costs. In order for the customized training
to be
successful, we
must work together to define your training needs, outline
detailed topics and areas of interest,
and find the
appropriate trainer, convenient class times and courseware.
Two different types of customized training:
Customized Training Sessions (Groups of 6 or more)
With diverse corporate training needs in our community, it
has become necessary to initiate customized training programs
designed to meet an organization’s specific training
goals. We have assisted large
and small corporations,
educational institutions, industries with critical work shortages
and many government
agencies with this type of training over the years. We provide
you with a
trainer who is an experienced teacher, not just a subject-matter-expert.
We ask that you assist us in choosing a qualified trainer
by reviewing their resumes
or certification transcripts we provide. We also encourage
you to contact references who can attest to their teaching
skills.
We ask
that you detail
your training objectives and provide the necessary software
and licenses, if necessary. We will work diligently to put
a program
together that is both cost effective and efficient. To initiate

Individual Tutoring
Many people find that working with an individual tutor is the most
effective way to learn technology skills that are directly relevant
to their everyday work. With a tutor, you can practice tasks
specific for work related situations. You can ask questions
about issues and problems faced.
The tutor will be
able to observe you perform your day-to-day work tasks
and give you feedback or suggest shortcuts to increase your efficiency.
